Careers
Open roles
We have no open roles at the moment. Rather than leave a page of vacancies up that we cannot fill, we would rather say so plainly and keep good speculative applications on file until something does open.
The roles that come up here
We are a small team, so hiring happens when a specific gap appears rather than on a schedule. When it does, it is usually one of these.
- Prepress. Preparing customer files for press, checking bleed, resolution, fonts and colour, drawing and adjusting dielines, and producing digital proofs. Comfortable in Illustrator and with print-ready PDFs, and patient enough to spot the problem in someone else's file before it reaches the press.
- Production and finishing. Running print, die-cutting, lamination, foiling and gluing, keeping quality consistent across a run, and keeping jobs moving to the 8 to 12 working day standard we quote. Hands-on machine experience matters more than qualifications.
- Sales and account handling. Talking to businesses in Qatar about what they actually need to pack, quoting accurately, and following orders through to delivery. Clear written English is essential and Arabic is a real advantage with local customers.
Sending a speculative application
Email sales@youprintqa.com with "Careers" in the subject line. Send a CV as a PDF and a short note covering which of the areas above you are aiming at, what you have actually done in it, whether you are already in Qatar, and your notice period and visa status. If you have production or design work you can show, attach a small sample or a link.
Keep it short. We read every application, but we read them between jobs, so a page that gets to the point is far more likely to land well than a long one.
What happens next
We will not send an automated acknowledgement, and we will not reply to every application, because promising that and failing would be worse than saying nothing. If your background fits something we expect to need, we will be in touch directly. Applications are kept for six months.
If you would rather ask a question first, call +974 4000 0000, Sunday to Thursday.
